“If you practice your craft in a certain way, everything you do, say, and wear should reflect on that, it should all become one,” Chris proclaims when asked about the importance of his look and lifestyle.
It was refreshing to follow Chris around in this reportage film and hear him speak about his convictions with so much passion. Someone who truly lives and breathes his values, Chris and his community present a look into a world where everything has purpose.
“My Local Style: Primed” is an observational film about the 'Primed' barber business, sustainability, community, and bespoke fashion.
Chris Jones has been running the barbershop in Leeds’ Chapel Allerton for over 12 years. Somewhat of a local legend, Chris shares his values and perspectives with friends and the barbershop’s “usuals”.
